These terms are an agreement between you (and the organization you act for) and MedalDesk ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you accept them.
We provide online software for running badminton tournaments: players and entries, draws, scheduling, live scores, public tournament pages and reports. We may improve, change or remove features over time.
You must give accurate information and keep your password safe. You are responsible for everything done under your account and for the people you invite, and for the role you give them. Tell us right away if you think an account has been misused.
You own the tournament data you enter, including information about players. You allow us to store and process it only to run the service for you. You are responsible for having the right to enter it, including any consent needed from players or, for minors, their parents or guardians, and for what you choose to publish on your public tournament pages. See our privacy policy.
Do not use the service to break the law, to harass anyone, to upload harmful code, to attempt to access another organization's data, or to overload or disrupt the service.
New organizations start with a free trial. After that, a paid monthly or annual plan is needed to keep editing. Payments are handled by Stripe. Plans renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel any time from your account and the plan then ends at the end of the period already paid. If a trial or plan ends, your tournaments stay readable and you can still download your data, but you cannot make changes until you subscribe again. Fees are shown before you pay and may be changed for future periods with notice. Taxes are added where required.
We work to keep the service running, especially on tournament days, but we do not promise it will always be available or error free. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose: you can export all of your data at any time from your account page, and the Report page has a backup export.
You can delete your organization and its data at any time from your account page. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or is unpaid after notice. After deletion your data cannot be recovered.
The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost entry fees or a tournament disrupted by an outage, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms and will tell you about material changes. Continued use after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
